We are currently seeking a highly motivated Major Account Manager with direct experience selling into the Financial Services Industry with great success.  This person is responsible for developing and executing a territory plan that ensures the attainment of quarterly (and annual) software sales objectives. As the leader of a virtual sales team they must leverage strong leadership and “strategic selling” experience to initiate, develop and close complex, enterprise level software opportunities.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Exceed quarterly/annual software goals while developing software pipeline at 3X-5X goal ratio.
• Initiate and execute successful new business acquisition plans (i.e., close new accounts).
• Manage, penetrate, and grow the software business in established customer base.
• Lead a team of business and technical resources through a complex sales cycle.
• Provide leadership and guidance to territory resources (e.g., SE’s, RTS’s).
• Develop territory partner ecosystem working closely with the Federal Partner Manager.
• Know the software solution to the extent needed to effectively lead the sales effort.
• Proficiently present the corporate and product value proposition.
• Know the competitor’s strengths and weaknesses.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Strong experience base selling into the Financial Services with success.
• Sustained successful track record with major “name brand” software companies.
• Successful experience dealing with quarterly pressure in a transaction oriented sales model.
• Strong track record in enterprise application and platform sales.
• Working knowledge of Data and Integration Solutions.
• Grass roots knowledge of territory (i.e., existing relationships and account knowledge).
• Knowledge of key accounts like Wells Fargo, American Express, and VISA 

Minimum Qualifications:

Ten+ years of successful enterprise solutions selling.

• C-level comfort in both the Business and IT sides of the business model.
• Proven ability to lead a team and initiate and win complex sell cycles.
• Ability to grasp the business impact of new technologies easily.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, verbal, presentation skills.
• College Degree.
